"Potpourri" Exhibition of the fotoMuses

at the Elmhurst Art Museum

February 1st-28th, 2020

I am proud to announce the first fotoMuses exhibit of 2020 at the Elmhurst Art Museum. This exhibition is called "Potpourri", with each photographer displaying their own personal favorite images. I am including five photographs of what I call "emotion", with a lone subject being the focus and theme. The artistry and variety are amazing, and it is a spectacular show to see. Our artists' reception is Friday, February 7th from 7-9pm. We all hope to see you there.

"Learning To Draw- It's Easier Than You Think!"

Join awarding-winning illustrator and instructor Cheryl Rausch as she takes through the process of learning to draw. During this one-hour interactive Zoom session, we will find out what drawing tools you can use, as well as tips & techniques to keep in mind while drawing. This session will be interactive, so consider doing some drawing yourself while you’re there! Cheryl is available to not only teach you the fundamentals, but also help you get started on your own artistic journey. Just have paper and pencil/pen handy, and the willingness to learn something new. The goal is for you to enjoy yourself during this session, and hopefully continue the adventure on your own. We hope to see you there!

During the Month of October, Wheaton's "Love Where You Live" Window Art Event celebrates local businesses, artists and all residents of this beautiful DuPage county community. "Love Where You Live" window artworks showcase these businesses, creative spirit and community of this vibrant city. My two window works are at Carlsons Glass & Mirror and Suburban Music, both on Front Street in the heart of downtown. Check out this fun and inspiring event created by the city of Wheaton!
